____________________________________________________________
give advice:
ask people if they are trying to make any decisions and/or try to get them to tell you their problems. give them your full attention and give them advice.
if a person doesn’t want to talk about their problems and/or is not in need of any specific advice then give them general advice. the advice you give may be serious or nonsensical.
take advice:
ask people to give you advice about something. you may seek advice about either a real or fictitious problem/scenario. if you like their advice, then you may take it.
____________________________________________________________
where “give” and “take” are overlapping on the map, balance the amount of advice you give with the amount of advice you take. when you are walking on only “give” you must give advice and when you are on only “take” you must take advice.
if you don’t come into contact with very many people, then you may also write down advice on paper from your notebook and leave the notes in different places where people may find and take the advice you give.
